3 Business Lessons That Turbocharged My Property Business

I reckon there are 3 “Life Lessons” or “Business Lessons” that have HUGELY helped me get to where I am today.

The first is to learn from your mistakes… BUT… to do this in a very specific way.

The second is all about the importance of taking action and so let me share a perfect example of this from yesterday.

And lastly… You absolutely get what you focus on. The trouble is we all (myself included) have a tendency to focus on the wrong things.

Another great example from me is that I’m an excellent kitchen fitter (believe it or not). Now having just moved house… where there’s an AWFUL kitchen… I’m SORELY tempted to roll up my sleeves and fit the new kitchen myself!

But the trouble is, I KNOW I’d take WAAAAY longer than I should… possibly a month from start to finish… because I’d want it to be 110% perfect!

So if I did the work myself, for one whole month I know that’d be all I would be focusing on and as a result, my businesses would suffer and so would my income.

So why on earth would I even consider focusing on fitting a new kitchen when I could pay a competent fitter £1500 to fit it for me AND he’d have it done and dusted in a week!

Instead, I could AND WILL focus that month on building my business, because…

“WE GET WHAT WE FOCUS ON”
